Install the App#

Cloud Hosted

The hosted BrewGraph web app can be installed on a phone, tablet, or computer. Once installed, it opens full screen from your home screen, without the browser address bar.

iPhone and iPad#

  1. Open the app in Safari.

  2. Tap Share.

  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.

  4. Tap Add.

Android#

  1. Open the app in Chrome.

  2. Open the menu (three dots).

  3. Tap Install app. Some versions say Add to Home screen.

  4. Confirm.

Desktop#

In Chrome or Edge, use the install icon in the address bar, or open the menu and choose Install.

Using the installed app#

  • Signing in works the same as in the browser.

  • When a new version is released, the app detects and applies it automatically. It reloads when you next change screens, without requiring you to close or restart the installed app, including on iPhone and iPad. It waits while a form has unsaved changes; a banner offers Reload when you are ready. If a screen cannot load during an update, the app refreshes itself once and returns to that screen.

  • Push notifications work in the installed app. On iPhone they work only when the app is installed to the home screen and notifications are allowed in the app’s notification settings. Use Settings > Notifications in the app to control them.

Limits#

The installed app needs an internet connection. It stores only the app shell, so it does not work offline and does not save changes made while you are offline.
