Getting Started#
Self Hosted
Use this guide after Installation to verify that your installation, first device, and first batch work together. Keep the server on a trusted LAN; see the installation warning before making it reachable from another network.
Before you start#
Open the BrewGraph web UI and confirm that it loads normally.
Add a device#
Open Devices and create the device type you want to connect.
Copy the device token and the ingest URL shown by BrewGraph.
Configure the device firmware with that URL and token.
Wait for the first reading, then confirm the device shows as active and its latest value looks plausible.
See Devices for device-specific setup and Device Tokens for safe token handling.
Create and monitor a batch#
Create a batch manually, import it from Brewfather, or import BeerXML.
Assign the gravity or pressure device to the batch.
Open the batch view and confirm that a new reading appears on the chart.
Add notes for meaningful events such as pitching yeast, dry hopping, temperature changes, packaging, or a sensor adjustment.
When packaging, create a storage vessel and assign it to a tap if you want to track what is being served.
The detailed workflows are in Batches, Storage Vessels, and Taps. s
